Goodwill/Easter Seals Goodwill/Easter Seals' mission is to provide services for people with barriers to employment in our community. We offer a wide range of innovative programs in partnership with businesses, government and community organizations that help people move from welfare to work. We place participants in high demand fields, including banking, finance, construction, automotive, retail, health care and food service. Goodwill/Easter Seals has joined with area businesses to develop innovative industry-specific job training programs that will help build an individual's employment skills. These programs vary in length. They offer trainees the opportunity to build essential employment skills through a combination of hands-on work experience and classroom instruction. Current programs provide training for employment in: Automotive Services Banking Construction Retail Financial Services In addition to teaching industry-specific skills, the programs give participants the opportunity to learn: . Positive work habits, such as attendance, punctuality, and good _grooming; . Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and .
